Tucson Gem and Mineral Show

The Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase is a gem and mineral that takes place annually in late January and February at multiple locations across the city of Tucson, Arizona. 

The key event of the Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase is the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show produced by the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society. This show has been held annually since 1955 ! 

Susi went out there to source rough and faceted stones to bring back to our East London studio. 

Whilst out there, Susi attended the Jewellery Industry Summit. Though a number of jewellery industry responsible sourcing programs exist, there's never been an industry-wide consensus on what constitutes a vision ALL stakeholders can support. Through organised participatory summits and active year-round work by dedicated volunteers, this initiative strives to encourage and facilitate meaningful, solution driven activities that continue to advance sustainability and responsible sourcing in the jewelry industry.
