Everyday is a school day
Our aim is to bring the same supply chain management to the jewellery industry as supermarkets have done with fresh produce. The more we can do in house, the shorter our supply chain thus the clearer traceability we have - #imadeyourjewellery.
This in mind, we went out to Montreux, Switzerland to attend Free Form Cutting and Faceting courses taught by the brilliant Hubert Heldner of Free-Form Artists. We have one of their machines on order and are looking forward to getting started with our own faceting here at The Rock Hound HQ!
Checking the symmetry on one of the stones we faceted, it created a psychedelic portal to another world.
